True Lemon - Crystallized Lemon

Water is one of your body's most essential nutrients. Every cell, tissue and organ needs water to function. Sadly, I never liked the taste of plain water unless there was bit of fresh lemon or lime juice squeezed into it. I was excited when I discovered True Lemon about 6 years ago. Fresh lemons spoil easily and it's hard to carry them around in your purse! Well, True Lemon packets are the perfect solution! The packets are small, portable and taste like fresh lemons!

Visit True Lemon's website and learn about the importance of water and how True Lemon can help you enjoy drinking more water!

True Lemon – What is it?

True Lemon is crystallized lemon made with 100% all natural ingredients. The True Citrus company starts off with freshly picked lemons and then uses a cold-pressing process. This process doesn't use heat, so the lemons maintain their optimal flavor. During cold-pressing, lemon oils and juices are extracted and then crystallized. This entire process actually locks in the flavor of freshly picked lemons! True Lemon believes that their product tastes better than any lemon you'll find in the store. That is probably true for people who don't have lemon trees in their yard!

True Lemon Nutritional Facts

True Lemon is an all natural product. It contains no artificial sweeteners or colors and has no calories, fat or sodium. It contains less than one gram of carbohydrates and offers 25 percent of an adult’s daily Vitamin C requirements. All True products are gluten free and safe for diabetics.

You may notice that the ingredients in the 10 count package, 32 count package and True Lemon shaker are a little different.

True Lemon 10 count package ingredients: Citric Acid, Lemon Oil, Lemon Juice, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)

True Lemon 32 count package ingredients: Citric Acid, Evaporated Cane Juice, Lemon Juice, Lemon Oil, Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C)

True Lemon Shaker ingredients: Citric Acid, Maltrodextrin, Lemon Juice, Lemon Oil, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)

According to True Citrus, the 10 count boxes are mainly for water, teas and beverages and need to dissolve easily. The 32 count boxes are made to be used in beverages, baking and seasoning

Evaporated cane juice is a bulking agent and doesn't add any sweetness to True Lemon products. Since there is such a small amount of evaporated cane juice added, the FDA considers it to be an unsweetened product. Maltodextrin is also used as a bulking agent in True Lemon Shakers. It prevents True Lemon grains from sticking together.

True Lemon – Not Just for Water!

True Lemon is a versatile product. I'll admit that I only used True Lemon in my water, tea and iced tea for a couple years! I realized I was missing out when I visited their website! True Lemon can be used in water, teas, recipes and more!

The True Citrus site says that “One packet of True Lemon equals the taste of 1 large lemon wedge and 2 packets of True Lemon is the equivalent of 1 tablespoon lemon juice.”

A couple of my favorite uses of True Lemon from their site:

- "Sprinkle True Lemon on broccoli, green beans, peas or other vegetables instead of salt.”

- “Use as a rub or seasoning on seafood, meat or chicken.”

Other True Citrus products include: True Lime, True Orange, True Lemonade and True Raspberry Lemonade.

I also use True Lime and love it! I haven't been able to find True Orange, True Lemonade and True Raspberry Lemonade yet.

You can also purchase their products at truelemonstore.com or on amazon. I bought my 500-count boxes of true lemon, true lime, and true orange for the same price as they are on amazon and got a discount and free shipping plus samples. I just discovered that they also have true grapefruit and will have to get a large box of that as well!
